Wildlife Proofing your Garden
- Saturday, August 19, 2017, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Are critters eating or damaging your vegetables and flowers? Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County (CCEUC) hosts “Wildlife Proofing Your Garden” a free lecture on Saturday, August 19 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m at the Master Gardener Program’s award-winning Xeriscape garden at SUNY Ulster, 491 Cottekill Road in Stone Ridge.
Deer, woodchucks and voles, oh my! Veteran and longtime garden speaker, Cecily Frazier, will talk about how to keep unwanted “critters” out of your garden. The “Learning in the Garden" series is appropriate for gardeners of any level.
Classes take place at the Master Gardener's award-winning Xeriscape garden at SUNY Ulster (491 Cottekill Road in Stone Ridge) on the 3rd Saturday of each month, June through October. Appropriate for gardeners of any level, classes start at 10 am, rain or shine, and last about an hour (except for the Plant Sale, which runs from 10 am – 12 pm).
This is a free lecture.
