Agrarian Learning Center is hosting a farm to table dinner with great speakers, and short films to highlight the Savory Institute's work from around the globe on November 4th.
The global theme is “Eat it, Wear it, Regenerate it, Igniting the Consumer Revolution". The speakers will talk about regenerative efforts, and how all of us can impact farming practices through our choices. The event will highlight real examples of consumer power supporting local production from a small, rural setting, to national sales, and globally as a network and united effort.
The Savory Institute (www.savory.global), is an organization devoted to restoring the world’s grasslands, reversing desertification, and bringing food and water security around the globe. Agrarian Learning Center is one of the 20 Hubs worldwide working to support Savory's mission. They have for years been training farmers in regenerative practices, and now we are building support to continue this work.
